“Emperor and Empress of Uxmal”. 17 inches high by 22 inches wide, thickness ranges from 1 to 2 inches. The material is ground stone with resin and FGR-95. It has a thick red wood frame colored with a dark bronze patina.
This sculpture was inspired by my visit to the ruins of Uxmal in southern Mexico. The Emperor was hunchedback and had a great love for the empress. He was one of the most powerful emperors to rule in Uxmal.
