What is modern Art?
To be modern is to be free and in the moment.
Can you explain further?
Well,if I am attached to an artistic style from some past era then I am obviously not modern,but if I am trying to be modern by attaching myself to to an idea of what I or others believe is modern,then I am not really modern because the true essence of modern is the expression of freedom,not only the freedom from the outside influences,the trends and fashions of the day,but true inner freedom,to go where my Creative Spirit takes me in this moment of time,an adventure into unknown,undiscovered territory,then I am modern.


So you could say that;    
Modern art is the true voice of the Creative Spirit speaking out in the present moment, free of all structures from the past or from the fashions and trends of the day.
